The ocean view was stunning, but the doors slammed loudly throughout the night.

We loved our trip to this spot! The Kachemak Bay Ferry was an absolute highlight, sailing through breathtaking scenery. We spotted whales and playful otters right from our room’s huge bay window, making every moment special. The staff was always ready to help, making our stay even better.
In my wife’s opinion, a few more family-friendly dining options would enhance the stay.

Stunning views, comfy stay!
We had a fab time enjoying the breathtaking sea and glacier views from our room. The service in the restaurant was super friendly and efficient. Dinner was really tasty! On the downside, the shower pressure was weak, which was a bit annoying. Overall, it’s a great place if you love beautiful landscapes!

We really enjoyed our time in a gorgeous King Suite with Ocean View, especially the incredible access to the beach and the heated pool that was perfect for relaxing. The service at the bar and the beautiful views from our balcony were just amazing! Just a heads up, our bathroom could use a little update, but it didn’t ruin our stay at all. 🌊

fine, fine, fine
The views from my Double Room Sea View were amazing! I could see the vibrant blue waters of Kachemak Bay right from my balcony, and the wildlife, like sea otters and eagles, was a fantastic bonus. Relaxing in the private hot tub while watching the sun dip below the mountains made for lovely evenings!
totally recommend ❤️🌊

Pleasant Stay with Good Dining Options
After a long drive down the Spit, we were eager to relax, but check-in at 5 PM made us wait. However, we enjoyed delightful breakfasts and dinners at the on-site restaurant. Be sure to make reservations for dinner in the main area!

Booked a room in advance expecting a waterfront view, but ended up facing the car park, which felt like a bait-and-switch. The room layout left much to be desired, with a small double bed crammed against the wall, making it awkward for one person to get in and out. Also, the bathroom needs attention. there’s a noticeable patch in the tub, a broken lock, and no breakfast options available. The service at the restaurant during meal times can be painfully slow, with limited breakfast options on-site. Pricing for meals was also steep compared to portion sizes, which didn't quite satisfy after a long day. Overall, the hotel feels more focused on its scenic location, but those details make the experience fall short.

I stayed at Land'S End for 8 nights while attending a conference. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and professional, always quick to respond to any inquiries. The housekeeping team was also accommodating, contributing to a pleasant experience. My port side room was perfect for one, with a fridge and microwave, offering incredible views. The Chart Room restaurant provided good food and fabulous service, although I would have appreciated more variety in the menu.
The front door was very heavy and difficult to manage with luggage.

Absolutely loved the views of the sea and mountains—breathtaking! The beach right outside our door made for lovely evening strolls. The room was spacious, and we had a refrigerator too, which was a nice touch.
And the shower? Hot water so fast, I nearly scalded myself!
